JSS has been organizing a eye service camp for the blind children aged (0-15) years free of cost support by child sight foundation (CSF), Dhaka. Eye service camp held at Thakurgaon sadoe, Baliadangi, Ranisankail and Horipur upazilla under Thakurgaon district. Eye examined among the 570 number child due to eye problem by the eye specialist Doctor.

Prescription and necessary advice delivered to the children and 95 number curable blind child were identified due to cataract through Eye Service Camp. The child were referred to Dhaka for proper treatment and operation.

JSS also arranged a inaugural day where Deputy commissioner. Miah Abdul Mamun was present as a chief guest and president of JSS Abdush Satter associate professor Salondar degree college was present as special chief guest. JSS Executive Director preside over the meeting.

Deputy Commissioner told that JSS really clamant of praise. After successful treatment children are able to see the light of the world. Their family or guardian don’t seem the child as burden of a family, now they can go to school easily. Their guardian are very proud. JSS ED told her speech that all sector of government and non-government and all high schools & primary schools helped us for arranging Eye Service Camp. She thanks to all sectors those who were participated and facilitating for arranging perfectly Eye Service Camp.
