Trafficking in women and children is important social problem of Thakurgaon border area. Hundred of women and children are being trafficked in India every year. Horipur, Ranisankail, Baliadagi and Pirganj upazilla under Thakurgoan district borders are the key point in women and children trafficking.

Thousands of community people of these borders are being awarded in trafficking and raised their voices in protest against trafficking. The women shouted slogan against trafficking in women and children.

JSS is holding a discussion meeting in border areas of each upazilla under Thakurgoan district for forming a trafficking protest committee.
